Prepare to take the GED test!
Improve your basic skills in reading, writing, and math.

Dearborn Adult Education offers GED preparation classes to those preparing for the GED test. Focus is on the five areas of reading, writing, social studies, math, and science.

– GED students must be 20 years or older as of September 1, 2013. -Students must be able to read and write English at the 9th grade level and possess 9th grade math skills.*

Class Schedule
Day classes are two hour classes that meet Monday through Friday  from 8:30-10:30; 10:30-12:30, and 1-3:00. Classes are 12 weeks beginning Monday, February 1st, 2016 and ending Monday, May 16.

Evening classes are three hour classes that meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Classes are 15 weeks that begin Tuesday, February 1st, and end Thursday, May 19.

*Students assessed below the 9th grade reading level will be placed in Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes focused on building reading and math skills.

      It cost $30 registration fee and the class is free. We are almost done with registration. Please call 313-827-1916 if you like to register.

  2. I just called the lady who picked up barely spoke English… the quick WHO’S THIS RESPONSE made me think I had the wrong number…very unprofessional!!
